30 days of intensive Chinese language learning, living and life in China
Chiversity, part of the TCM-Alliance Group, offers an intensive and fully organised immersion programme for anyone who wants to learn the Chinese language and genuinely experience China.
For 30 days, participants stay in Hohhot, China. For four weeks they follow intensive Chinese language education, live on or near the campus, use the language daily in a Chinese environment and become acquainted with the culture and daily life in China.
The journey covers 30 days from departure to return, including 25 lesson days. The Chinese lessons are taught in English, making the programme accessible to participants who have sufficient command of English to follow the lessons.
The strength of the programme lies in the combination of intensive language education, full immersion and a carefully organised stay.
The Chiversity formula is built around five interconnected pillars:
From Monday to Friday, participants receive six hours of intensive Chinese language training per day, from 09:00 to 12:00 and from 14:00 to 17:00.
The training focuses on speaking, listening, reading and writing, with additional attention to pronunciation, pinyin, tones, vocabulary, grammar and practical communication.
The 25 lesson days form the substantive heart of the programme. The Chinese lessons are taught through the English language.
An intake takes place before the course begins. The participant’s current level, learning objective, personal interests, relevant practical situations and desired emphasis within the language training are discussed. This information enables the teachers to take the different backgrounds and learning objectives of the participants into account within the joint programme.
A language is learned most effectively when it becomes part of daily life.
For this reason, participants stay in Hohhot during the programme and become part of a Chinese educational and living environment for four weeks.
Accommodation is located on the school campus or, if necessary, in a nearby hotel. Different types of accommodation are available, including single rooms, twin rooms and shared rooms.
By connecting living and learning, an environment is created in which participants encounter China and the Chinese language not only during lessons, but throughout the entire day.
The Chiversity formula goes beyond learning words and grammar.
During the week, the foundation is laid in the lessons. At the weekend, this knowledge is applied further through self-study and cultural activities that connect with the themes of the teaching.
Participants therefore have the opportunity to experience and apply what they have learned directly in an authentic Chinese environment.
Chinese culture therefore does not become a separate part of the programme, but an integral part of learning the language.
A language only becomes truly usable when a person has the confidence and ability to use it.
Within the programme, participants are therefore continually encouraged to actually use the Chinese they are learning. In the classroom, during activities, during meals and in everyday situations, opportunities repeatedly arise to listen, speak and communicate.
As a result, participants develop not only language knowledge, but also the confidence to use Chinese in practice.
The basic principle is:
learn, apply, experience and learn again.
Four weeks of intensive training are not an endpoint, but form a powerful foundation for further language development.
Through the combination of daily lessons, self-study, practical experience and cultural immersion, participants gain an intensive introduction to the Chinese language and society in a short period of time.
The aim is for participants to leave China with more than knowledge of Chinese alone: they will have practical language skills, greater confidence in using the language and a better understanding of Chinese culture and context.
The Chiversity Chinese Immersion Experience is focused on demonstrable development of both theoretical and practical language proficiency.
Students who have successfully and positively completed the full language course and meet the required standards in both the theoretical and practical components will receive a recognized language certificate upon completion of the programme.
The certificate provides formal confirmation of successful participation and the results achieved within the Chiversity Chinese Immersion programme.
The Chiversity Chinese Immersion Experience is designed as an all-inclusive programme. Participants do not need to arrange the individual components of their stay separately.

Participants can therefore concentrate fully on the purpose for which they come to China: learning Chinese and experiencing China.
The programme is offered from Chiversity’s own school in Hohhot, in cooperation with Sequoia United Education School, with its own campus for approximately 1,500 students.
The location offers participants an authentic Chinese learning environment in which education, accommodation and daily practice come together.
As part of the TCM-Alliance Group, Chiversity uses an international network with a presence in Europe, China and Africa. This places the Chinese language training within a broader international context.
The Chiversity Chinese Immersion Experience is offered on six scheduled travel dates between October 2026 and April 2027. Choose the edition that best fits your schedule.
After the intake and confirmation of participation, an initial deposit of € 2,000 is required.
The remaining amount of € 2,950 must be paid no later than three weeks before the departure date.
The Chiversity Chinese Immersion Experience is not a traditional language course and it is not an ordinary study trip to China.
It is an intensive, fully organised language and immersion programme in which participants learn, live and experience daily life in China for one month.
