Healthcare Education

Healthcare & Medical Education

Medical and language education for Chinese students and experienced healthcare professionals preparing through Chimedics Exchange for professional work in Germany.

One integrated education pathway

Chimedics Exchange is responsible for the overall international Exchange pathway. Within that pathway, Chiversity organises the required education and Sequoia United Education School provides the educational base and training in Hohhot.

The pathway is intended for both students and experienced healthcare professionals. Their previous education, work experience, competencies and language level are assessed against the relevant professional and legal requirements for their intended work in Germany.

Any identified educational gaps are translated into additional training in knowledge, practical skills and language. The aim is to prepare participants to the level required for the Chimedics Exchange route. This educational preparation does not replace official German professional recognition or decisions by the competent authorities.

Alignment with German professional requirements

The education is organised per profession and per participant on the basis of the requirements that apply to the intended professional role in Germany.

  1. 1

    Initial assessment

Diploma, previous education, work and practical experience, existing competencies, documents and language level are mapped for each participant.

  2. 2

    Requirements for Germany

Chimedics Exchange defines the relevant professional, legal and practical requirements for the route. Theory, practical education, patient safety, documentation, professional law, communication and language are mapped against those requirements.

  3. 3

    Training gap analysis

Differences in knowledge, practical skills and language are translated into concrete learning objectives and additional training modules.

  4. 4

    Required education

Chiversity organises the required education. Sequoia United Education School delivers the medical, practical and language education in Hohhot in accordance with the requirements defined for the Chimedics Exchange route.

  5. 5

    Assessment and documentation

Knowledge, language, professional language, practical skills and clinical readiness are assessed and recorded in an individual participant dossier.

Language education is part of the pathway

Language is not treated as a separate add-on. It is integrated into the medical preparation because participants must be able to follow education, communicate safely in clinical practice and document professionally in the destination language.

For Germany, the required language level is defined per profession and recognition route. Where the pathway requires it, training can progress to B2 and include preparation for a recognised B2 examination.

  • Entry assessment and periodic measurement of language progress.
  • General German for daily and professional communication.
  • Medical terminology and profession-specific German.
  • Communication with patients, relatives, doctors, colleagues and in emergency situations.
  • Professional written documentation and preparation for the required recognised language examination.

Theory, practice and clinical preparation

The programme combines medical knowledge with practical and clinical preparation. Sequoia United Education School provides medical education, teaching staff, practical supervision and agreed facilities in Hohhot. The training content is organised around the requirements of the Chimedics Exchange route for Germany.

Medical theory

Supplementary theory focuses on subjects and learning outcomes that differ from the target curriculum or require further development.

Skills lab and simulation

Skills-lab, simulation and case-based training are used to practise procedures, clinical reasoning and situations that cannot always be trained safely or predictably in daily practice.

Professional and clinical practice

Supervised preparation includes patient safety, medication safety, documentation, communication, professional law, ethics and the responsibilities associated with professional practice in Germany.

Responsibilities within the cooperation

Responsibilities are clearly separated. Chimedics Exchange manages the complete Exchange concept and route. Chiversity organises the education required for the route. Sequoia United Education School delivers the education in Hohhot.

Chiversity

Organises and coordinates the medical and language education required for Chinese students and experienced professionals participating in Chimedics Exchange pathways to Europe.

Sequoia United Education School

Provides the educational base in Hohhot and delivers medical education, language education, teaching staff, practical supervision and agreed facilities for the required training.

Chimedics Exchange

Owns and manages the complete Chimedics Exchange concept and pathway. It translates the applicable German legal and professional requirements into route requirements, coordinates recognition and professional transition, and provides Chinese medical personnel trained for work in Germany.

Assessment, dossier and readiness

Each pathway has a written assessment plan. Depending on the profession, this can include knowledge tests, oral examinations, language and professional-language tests, practical skills tests, case assessments, simulations, OSCE, practice evaluations and a final interview.

An individual dossier records diplomas, previous education, theory and practice hours, work experience, language results, assessments, practical evaluations and progress. At the end of the pathway, readiness is assessed against the requirements of the Chimedics Exchange route.

Professional recognition: Successful completion confirms that the participant has completed the agreed educational pathway. It does not itself constitute German professional recognition and does not replace a decision by the competent authority.
