Who you will be working with

Yimi is a Chinese business consultancy founded by Anna Zheng: who does the work, how an engagement runs, and the registered company details.

About Who you will be working with Business consulting for international companies in China. We help them enter China and set up properly, give commercial advice on the deals and contracts in front of them, and represent them at exhibitions and around the negotiating table. Her professional work has centred on cross-border commercial contracts and dispute resolution, advising international clients across technology, manufacturing and trade on the agreements that hold a deal together and on what happens when one of them fails. That background shapes how Yimi works. The problems international companies meet in China are rarely the paperwork itself. They are a contract that says something different in each language, a structure chosen without counting what it costs to run, a negotiation where nobody wrote down what was agreed, or a brand that was never registered in China. Most can be settled early, and cheaply, by someone who reads the Chinese side and the commercial detail together. So the company is built around three lines of work: getting market entry and company setup right before anything is registered, giving commercial advice on deals and contracts, and representing clients at exhibitions and negotiations, with interpreting throughout. The advice is commercial: what the terms mean for your business, and where there is room to negotiate. Anna writes and checks the guidance on this site: the answers, the guides and the insights. Published work Anna has written two chapters of The Queensland Law Handbook, the free public legal-information resource published by Caxton Legal Centre in Brisbane: Consumers and Contracts and Consumer Credit and Banking . Both chapters cover Australian law and are separate from Yimi’s work in China. Professional scope Yimi is a business consultancy holding a Chinese business-consulting licence, not a law firm. Anna does not act as your lawyer, and nothing we produce is legal advice. Her legal training is why our commercial advice is careful about detail and wording. It is not a service we sell. What we are Wenzhou Yimi Information Consulting Co., Ltd. is a Chinese business-consulting company that works in English and Chinese. We serve companies in both directions: international businesses entering or operating in China, and companies anywhere doing business with Chinese counterparts. The work falls into three service lines: market entry and corporate setup, commercial advisory and contracts, and exhibitions, interpreting and negotiation. You can start with one and add others as your work in China develops. Every service has a published price in US dollars, on the pricing page. We are registered in Wenzhou, Zhejiang, and work nationwide: registration authorities, notary offices, banks, exhibition halls and meeting rooms, wherever the matter sits. Our team works in Chinese and English, and interpreters for other languages can be arranged on request.
